1. How do I join this Club?
There's a link on the Home page that opens a Membership Form. Print it out and fill in the important bits.
There's a $20 joining fee which covers the cost of a club T-shirt and sticker - slightly more for overseas members (postage!). Annual fees are due on July 1 of each year, so work out how many months from now until July 1, times $2 (if it's mid-September, for example, it'd be $18), plus the $20 joining fee. From then on it's $25 per year.
• Payment? Fees can be paid by: (1) Cheque. Payee is 'SR500 Club Australia'. (2) Australia Post money order. Payee is 'SR500 Club Australia'. (3) Direct Bank Deposit. Westpac, BSB 033 068, Acct. No. 164061. Please confirm with an email to paul@sr500club.org or paunew@optusnet.com.au that payment has been made. (4) In person at a club meeting or at the Rally. (5) Well-wrapped cash through the post has been used on the rare occasion. (6) International members can use PayPal to 'info@sr500club.org'.

2. Why should I join this club?
If you have an interest in Yamaha single 500 or 400s, SRs, XTs or TTs or their offspring, the SRXs, SZRs, XT600s. The club is Melbourne-based, but with members in all Australian States and Territories, as well as USA, UK and the Netherlands. The aim is for members to have the info to make contact with members in their area and hopefully meet for rides and information exchange. Members can post ads and notices on the site and contact other members thru the internal email system.
