Hi All

Well back home from the ride and back to work. Had a fantastic six weeks away covering 18,000 + k's, it is a long way round.
The V Strom did not quite make it, breaking a new chain the other side of Warwick, which then wrapped itself around the hub with a large length of it thrashing the hell out of everything within reach.
Thankfully had panniers on because it would probably have wreaked havoc with the back of my leg.
That and one of the others getting a shunt from a tintop on the first day, were the only real incidences of the whole trip. We had mostly great weather and met some real characters on the way.
There ended up being seven of us for most of the way, consisting of 3 F800GS BMW's, 2 x 650 V Stroms, 1x1000 V Strom and a TL 1000. The BMW's had the most problems.
Proud to say we have raised over $48,000.00 for the Cancer Council, hopefully can get it to fifty before it closes in a couple of weeks time.
